The 2D6 shot mode of the weapon for killing Infantry isn't bad. This is why a lot of people end up suggesting changing D6 shot weaponry to 2D3 shot weaponry. It's not just because they have better horde clearing potential but because 2D6 has a bell curve effect, causing the number of shots to become much more consistent. When Hellhounds went from D6 shots Damage 2 to 2D6 shots at Damage 1, they became amazing. D6 shots is a bit too variable and sometimes you might end up burning CP on it just so it doesn't fire a single shot. I think Reapers have a consistency issue.
